Mister Dickens is off to the Olympics!!

After an e-mail which was sent in 2010, Mr Dickens has finally heard that he has been selected to be an Anti-Doping chaperone for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Anti-Doping is the team who deal with all the random drug testing at the Olympics, so that the games can remain drug-free. It will be his job to attend all the games for the men’s football at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and to be there at the pre-event hotels, as drug testing takes place over the three weeks prior to the event as well.
This will be in addition to the Flame coming through our village on May 23rd, an event which the whole school is going to turn out for. All the school is going to be involved with a project in school to celebrate the games, which are set to be a momentous event in our nation this summer.
